Anuvu Distribution and A24 Sign Exclusive Global Aviation Distribution Agreement for Feature Films

The partnership includes seven upcoming titles that will be exclusively procured through Anuvu Distribution for airlines and U.S military installations

LOS ANGELES, June 7, 2023 – Anuvu Distribution, the leading provider of entertainment solutions for worldwide airline, ship, and non-theatrical markets, announced today a new content agreement with A24 for exclusive worldwide aviation distribution rights of the company’s titles.

A24, a global entertainment company, has become synonymous with premium, critically acclaimed titles and swept the Oscars this year winning nine Academy awards. Some of its renowned films include award winners Everything, Everywhere All at Once, Moonlight and The Whale. Following Anuvu’s distribution success with these titles, and others, the companies decided to further their partnership with this exclusive output deal.

The partnership includes seven upcoming A24 titles:

  • Past Lives (Celine Song)
  • The Iron Claw (Sean Durkin)
  • Dream Scenario (Kristoffer Borgli)
  • Talk to Me (Danny Philippou, Michael Philippou)
  • Medusa Deluxe (Thomas Hardiman)
  • Earth Mama (Savannah Leaf)
  • Problemista (Julio Torres)

With this deal, airlines and U.S. military installations may procure most of A24’s new release feature films through Anuvu’s distribution arm. This agreement expands on the companies’ existing relationship, which dates to Anuvu’s distribution of Moonlight, which won the 2017 Best Picture Academy Award. Anuvu’s unique leadership position in the market has led to the recent revenue success for its partners and resulted in the expanding slate quadrupling year on year.

In addition to this deal, Anuvu Distribution will also represent a collection of catalog titles from A24 Distribution, including Alex Garland’s Ex-Machina; Jonathan Glazer’s Under the Skin; Room, directed by Lenny Abrahamson; and Amy from director Aasif Kapadia.
